Good Book for all Levels of Play. Congrats!
Well written and thoughtful. The formatting looks nice and is easy to read on mobile devices.
One of the neat things about this book is that the concepts often apply to the larger game, even if they're explained in the context of just the second roll.
The concept of the book is great: a small, focused examination of a high importance topic. I'd love to see more books like this.
I haven't finished the book yet but read a chapter when I can. It (in such a short time) has made me a improved player. I have been playing BG for over forty years having read, "Backgammon For Blood and The Playboy Book of Backgammon" for starters. Your book has forced me to emphasize different elements of the game. I know by playing in clubs and putting money down can make you an improved player as well. No mention, although it may be in the book, about sobriety, money management and the art of gambling. Thanks so much for writing in the style you do most interesting.
A must have. Many of the rules apply throughout the game. Step up, tempo hit, call for backup, bar fight. I find myself using these 2nd move rules in many cases through a game.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED YET. WHY SUCH A LONG SHIPPING TIME?
