Why the name “Talat”?
As an act of respect and honor, Fuat Erdag named this backgammon set after his friend Talat, as great friendships are held in high regard in Turkish culture.

What’s the difference between the board types?
We offer a range of boards to match your playstyle and budget.
The Monte Carlo, Earth Board and FM Gammon have boards with and without separate checker trays.
Adventure is lightweight and perfect for casual or travel play. It comes with separate checker trays.
Adventure+ adds a touch of refinement with checker trays built in.
Tournament is the real deal—tournament-sized with premium materials and pro-level design with separate checker trays.

How do I clean my board and checkers?
Our Luxury Earth Board has a removable playing surface (MagFit™) for easy cleaning. Use a soft cloth for surfaces and avoid harsh chemicals. For checkers and dice, a gentle wipe will do the trick.
