Honoring Paul "X-22" Magriel
The X-22 color style references the backgammon legend Paul Magriel's famous book titled "Backgammon" with our Backgammon Galaxy tweaks added.
The moniker "X-22" that is eternally attached to Magriel refers to his attempt at uncovering the most effective playstyle for backgammon. He did his research by listing many fictional players all playing distinct ways and naming them X-1, X-2 etc. Magriel discovered the player with the number X-22 was the winner of this test and the name forever stuck to him.
