Once again Backgammon Galaxy is marking itself as an innovator in the backgammon space. With the Atlas Board a novel concept is born:
Combining the joy of playing on a big board with the lightweight ease of a roll up board.
The Atlas board will be the first tournament sized roll-up board of its kind. A thoughful and highly useful board for any backgammon enthusiast.
The board is made of sturdy leatherette through and through with matte 44.5mm checkers that feel pleasantly organic to the touch.
Also includes dice and a doubling cube.
The Details Count
This board is designed by experienced players, and you will find subtle, yet important details:
- The dice are nicely muted upon hitting the surface, thus not prone to rolling out of the board.
- The edge of the board is sligthly raised such that you have a sense of a frame to place checkers against. Not like a normal rollup board where checkers slide right past the edges.

Our Luxury Earth Board has a removable playing surface (MagFit™) for easy cleaning. Use a soft cloth for surfaces and avoid harsh chemicals. For checkers and dice, a gentle wipe will do the trick.
